Housemates Salone is a reality television show produced by Africell and AYV TV. The show is a live broadcast 24 hours a day, seven 7 days a week, of a 20 young men and women living together in an isolated house with no connection to outside world.
The show is about entertainment, fun, competition, games, exposure crowned with BIG WINS. The application form is detailed so that we can get a good idea about you and whether you would be a suitable candidate for Housemates Salone. Kindly make sure to answer all questions correctly and honestly in the form. You will automatically be disqualified from the selection process if any of the answers turns out to be untruthful or if you withheld requested information.
Please carefully read the section below entitled Housemates Salone - Information for Applicants before completing the rest of this application form.
Note that you MUST be 21 years or older and that applications close 10 September 2025.

I. TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. I am aware that the producers (AYV and Africell) will consider the information supplied by me in this document for purposes of considering me as a participant in the Housemates Salone production.
2. If you are selected by the producers for the next phase of the auditions, you must avail yourself for a possible video interview.
3. If you are selected for the next phase, you will be contacted by phone call. Make sure your phone is always charged and available.
4. you must be willing to live in the housemates located in Sierra Leone with approximately 20 or more strangers where you will have little or no privacy. If you are chosen to live in the house, it is your responsibility to make any necessary arrangements with your employer and family in anticipation of your extended absence.
5. The house is extensively outfitted with video and audio recording devices which will record, broadcast and exhibit your actions and voice at all times, 24 hours a day, 7days a week in every room and space in the house for the duration of your participation in the contest. You will always be observed by the Producer as well as the general public watching on television, the Internet, mobile devices and any and all media platforms.
6. The producers have the right to use your pictures and videos on all social media platforms outdoors and tv. You grant the producers and the show a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide and royalty-free rights to use your name, image, likeness and logo, or other identifiable attributes of you, broadcast and rebroadcast same on all platforms to promote and the show to be used during and after the show.
7. You MUST be at least 21 years of age by July 31, 2025.
8. If you are selected to be interviewed, you may be given, and must complete and return, any further application materials (including but not limited to additional psychological and health questionnaires), or documents (such as your birth certificate, passport, and/or other identification) as well as a Medical History form.
9. If selected as a Semi-Finalist you must complete the Participant Form Package, which will be furnished to you by the Producer and will include but is not limited to: Participant Agreement & Release, psychological and medical assessments (including blood and urine tests), confidentiality agreement (including those for your immediate family members), caretaker agreement and other additional information as required by Producer.
10. Africell and AYV have no responsibility whatsoever if pregnancy occurs during the program.
11. I agree to undergo a full blood test and grant the producers, the organizer and the show the right to access my medical results for the purpose of vetting my wellness and mental state to participate in this show.
12. By applying for participation in housemates Salone, you authorize the Producer to conduct civil, criminal, and any other type of background checks deemed necessary by the Producer.
13. Employees, officers, directors and agents of, any sponsor of the Program or a contest or prize related thereto, and/or any of their respective licensees, assigns, parents, affiliated and subsidiary companies and the immediate family (spouse, mother, father, sister, brother, daughter or son, regardless of where they live) or members of their same households (whether related or not) of such employees, officers, directors and agents are not eligible to be participants on housemates Salone or participate in the application process.
14. If you are short listed during the selection process, the Producers will ensure that any information provided for the purpose of producing Housemates will be kept secure and treated as confidential and used for the permitted purpose only. Any disclosures of information will only be made with your permission.
15. However, if you are selected to go to the house, the Producers reserve the right to use any of your details and information supplied by you for the purpose of the Africa production, publicity and broadcast, the only exception being your address and contact details.
16. The Producers and the broadcaster shall retain the application forms of candidates for future related use when, for example, producing similar shows if you have been short listed.

Profile Terms and Conditions

1. I have answered all of the questions on the application form fully, honestly and accurately and I confirm I have not misled or attempted to mislead the Producers in any way as to my identity, experiences or in any other way.
2. If any of the information I have given in the application form is found to be false, the Producers will be entitled to exclude me from the Housemates Salone participant selection process.
3. If I am short listed by the Producers, I am prepared to undergo psychological and medical screening. I understand that the full details of this will be explained to me in advance.
4. If I am short-listed, I also agree to authorize the Producers to conduct background checks to verify any of information I have supplied.
5. Even if I am selected as a participant, the Producers have no obligation to produce the program and even if the program is made there will be no obligation on the Producers or any broadcaster to broadcast it.
6. All decisions by the Producers concerning selection of the participants are final and no reasons will be given for not being selected. I agree, not to challenge or appeal those decisions.
7. I will keep strictly confidential and shall not, without the prior written consent of the Producers, at any time from the date I sign this application form and for 12 months following the first transmission of the final episode of Housemates Salone 2025, disclose, publish or reveal to any person any incident, conversation or information concerning the series or the application/selection process which comes to my knowledge as a result of my inclusion in the participant selection process and/or the Housemates series, if selected, nor other information relating to AYV, Africell and other partners or the Housemates series acquired by me during this period, without consultation with AYV or Africell.
8. If I am selected to participate in the program, I agree to enter into a formal agreement with the Producers and/or any other relevant party, the terms and conditions of which will be necessary to protect the rights of the Producers and/or such other entity involved in the production.
9. If I am short-listed but not selected as a contestant, I hereby grant and assign a royalty-free and worldwide right to AYV and Africell to irrevocably and perpetually use my photographs, likeness, profile, voice, sound effect, caricature, literary, artistic and musical materials and the like for purposes of broadcasting or rebroadcasting Program and/or any related publicity and marketing, which AYV and Africell accept.
